Promoting Digital Health

ALVL Foundation supported Telemedicine Society of India, Rajasthan Chapter to organise an International Training Workshop on Health Informatics Curriculum Development, for doctors and other healthcare professionals. The Workshop was held from 25th – 27th March 2022, at MG Institute of Health Informatics, MGUMST, Jaipur. A post-workshop publication was developed and circulated.

Affordable CT Scans at Gurudwara Pushp Vihar

ALVL Foundation supported Gurudwara Pushp Vihar Charitable Foundation to set-up a CT Scan Centre at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara,  Pushp Vihar, New Delhi. The CT Scan Centre envisages provision of latest technology of ACTs EX 16 slice and 32 slice CT Scans. These services are extended to the public at large, especially the economically weaker sections of the society at very nominal charges (on a no profit-no loss basis). The Centre was inaugurated in February 2023 by Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs & Petroleum and Natural Gas, in the presence of Shri KTS Tulsi, Member Rajya Sabha & Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India and (Hony) Brig Dr Arvind Lal.

Promoting Innovations in Healthcare

To celebrate and encourage innovations in Healthcare, InnovatioCuris Foundation and ALVL Foundation jointly organised “Young Innovator’s Award” in during InnoHealth 2022 December 2022. The awards attracted more than 100 young innovators from universities, colleges and start-ups, as nominees this year. A diverse jury comprising investors, policy makers and senior govt. officials scrutinised the nominations and shortlisted the winners

 

Winning Entries for 2022 included:

  • Micro ECG – A compact and portable ECG machine
  • Use of machine learning and neural networks to prescribe diets for reducing the glycemic index and detect diabetic complication issues
  • Natural fluorine filter water pot to reduce fluorine levels in the drinking water
